The Java House is so cute! The inside is extremely cozy, feels like I'm in someone's home. I ordered their iced green tea lemonade and it was delicious. Not too sweet, not too bland, it was just right. The baristas were also very quick about getting our drinks made, which was nice. I didn't stay to drink since we were out and about, but it seems like a great place to study or work. Lots of tables and seating options!

Cute coffee shop in the heart of Iowa city. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. My white mocha was delicious, the menu seems like there is something for everybody. It is family friendly and looks like it’s a pretty popular spot for the college kids. Will definitely be back!

100% of the times we came here on our 11th anniversary, we came back to also celebrate our 12th! Can't guarantee that you'll also have a wonderful year of growth with your partner, but it worked for us! Also, fun vibe, good coffee, and avocado melt ??

Nice place with reasonably priced and good tasting coffee. Atmosphere is pretty relaxed and
Service hit or miss. Oftentimes, there are lots of people behind the bar, but only one person is actually working.

I used to think they had the best food around for an easy lunch. I'm not sure what happened, but they started to cheap out. Santa Fe salad has barely any dressing and they completely removed the tomatoes. The cost went up, but the quality went down.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich, it took 25 minutes. Feel free to watch the staff stand around if you want. Great place for that

Freshman year in college I would spend every Sunday morning here to study. Some times I would take my friends in there to just sit down and drink coffee while playing some chess. I sometimes wish that it wasn’t so gloomy and macabre in the back room area, but I guess I still adored it(it didn’t feel the same after they converted part of the study area to part of the sandwich shop next door)
