I had a terrible experience here about a month ago. It just really wasn't enjoyable- bad enough for me to remember it a month later. The service was awful, the barista gave so much attitude and made it almost feel like it was my fault he had to clock in that day. I always treat people doing me a service with a lot of respect and kindness, so my feelings were hurt when he responded to that with the opposite energy. Then he proceeded to make me the worst chai I've ever tasted. I couldn't even drink it. Extremely bitter and somehow lukewarm. I haven't returned to the Java House since.

This is a wonderful place to study, meet someone or even just for some quiet time. It wasn't too loud, and the music is also not so loud or distracting. There are many different kinds of sitting arrangements, with sufficient outlets as well.

Placed an order for pickup: two cookies, a chicken caprese panini, and an iced chai latte. I had ordered the sandwich with modifications, which unfortunately were not followed. The chai latte was delicious but didn't taste homemade, but that's ok! I wasn't looking for homemade. The cookies were the best part. The chocolate chip cookie had GIANT chocolate wafers in it. Will definitely go back for those.
