Had a craving for Corn Fritters, yep. Been years since I'd eaten any and the Dairy-Kone came up as the only place within a reasonable distance that had them on the menu. 25 minute drive and I'm ordering them to find the fix I suddenly needed after many years LOL. They were not the homemade ones I was really craving, but were very good never the less. The gizzards I got along with them were not half bad either. Worth the 2 minute drive off of highway 20. Nice little diner with ice cream shop. Very friendly and quick service. My burger was great and my wife’s chicken salad sandwich was delicious. Nice selection of ice cream flavors. My mint chip shake was awesome.

First time trying Dairy Kone was a good experience. We got there at about 11:30 and it wasn't too busy. Lots of good looking menu items. There was only one person working, so she had to wait tables as well as prepare the food, clean up after. So if you're in a hurry, I'd suggest ordering ahead. I had the Whole Hog (with raw onions instead of the grilled that normally comes on the sandwich.) It was really tasty!
