Big Acai Bowl - Johnston

My first Acai smoothie was awesome! Need to eat healthy but too good with the InstantPot. Madonna was great, personable, briefly educated me on Acai (tho I still cannot pronounce). Looking forward to a breakfast item next time I'm driving through Johnston!

I give the place a 0 honestly I had acai bowls but it was the nerve of her to put her own fresh home grown peanut butter on the acai bowls for me so no I wouldn't eat her ever because if you tasted peanut butter from scratch in your food you be mad to the it didn't come with enough topping like it was horrible

Love the pitaya bowl. Just don’t get protein added unless you plan to dumb into bowl and mix everything together. I was disappointed I thought the protein would be added and blending into the pitaya nut instead it was loss protein powder in the bottom of the bowl. The protein didn’t mix well when trying to stir it all either it turned clumpy. Otherwise without the protein, love the bowls. Service is fine, they are quick just lacks friendly atmosphere.

We ordered 200 Acai Bowls for a joint grad party. The owner was great to work with. The delivery was right on time and brought in large coolers with dry ice. The fruit and toppings were plentiful and fresh! Overall, Big Acai exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them!

This place needs more love!!I had only been to the one in Pella, and when I found out there was one here, I jumped at the chance to get some.The food is good as always, though there seems to be a whole lot more of granola than normal.But otherwise its amazing!!!

Delicious!I wish they would sell the coconut sorbet in pints or quarts!One thing that I would as an owner is advertise. I did not realize what it was and I lived in Johnston for 4 years driving by at all the time. I suggest putting the hours on the door and make it look like it's open.
