Stopped here on a trip we took to the area. Food and service were top notch! We will definitely be putting this on one of the top to come back to when we are in the area!
Stayed waiting on the phone more than 15 minutes.

This is a tiny hidden gem! I ordered the buger and it was ok. There was very light sauce on the burger and I could barely taste the sauce. There was only two jalepenos on my huge burger. I would have like to have seen at least four. We asked for a side of their hottest sauce they have and the sauce is very delcuous! In my opinion, that sauce is the main attraction here! Soo flavorful and very hott! I put that sauce on my burger and it brought it back to life! Our waitress was very kind and took care of us very well.

Only the asada tacos were well seasoned, payed $50 for pretty mediocre tacos in my opinion there is definitely better and more authentic taco trucks out there..

Small place, great food okay service. They've got my order Mango Shrimp tacos, which were delicious, wrong 3 times two days in a row. I'd blame the shortage of staff if anything.
I also think it's on the pricey side and does not beat El Mariachi in terms of price service taste or atmosphere.
I'm fact, I'd rather choose El Mariachi or another place if meeting other peoples for lunch.

Ate at the Johnston restaurant. Nothing was seasoned well. Chicken had no salt. Chorizo was decent. Steak was about 50% where it should be. Beans were very over salted, needed cumin, onion, and lime. Rice was bland, even with salsa.
Salsas included are red and green typical of taco trucks. They were very watery and not seasoned. Tacos have a single tortilla, which are storebought. They were not filled generously. Only one small lime wedge and no sides or accoutrements like grilled onion inculded. One radish slice.
The establishment is tiny. There was a table 2 feet from the counter. It felt very cramped ordering, and I'd not want to eat inside.
$20 for 3 tacos with rice and beans. The value is not there. The price is higher than full service restaurants, yet the dining room and food preparation do not match the price.

A nice little spot to enjoy some tasty Mexican food. The chips had a nice seasoning. The Asada steak used is well seasoned and not overly chewy. I had the Torta. The taste was good. It had the common components. The bread used did not seem traditional and was extremely oily. The location only has a handful of tables so it can be crowded. I made sure to include some food pictures.
The wait staff was mid. They forgot our appetizers. They were very friendly. The food was also slow coming out. If you come here on a work lunch, be sure to plan accordingly.

Upon learning of the restaurant by the amazing breakfast burritos served by Lightbrite coffee in Grimes, this strip mall storefront was an out-of-towner’s dream. While the few tables are nothing outstanding, the tacos delight! Plan ahead to arrive before Al Pastor sells out

We were the first customers in the door when they opened and placed our orders, when a group of 15 walked in after us. They sat, ordered, were served, and all paid and left before we received our food-- nearly one hour later. Clearly we were bumped, and when our food arrived it was cold and obviously had been sitting. To her credit the waitress apologized and gave us a discount-- but avoid this poorly run and over-hyped restaurant. It's 100% not worth the hassle.
