We live in Ankeny, but very often drive to the Johnston Panera to enjoy our weekly coffee/pastry date. This location is obviously managed well. It is always clean and the pastries are not over baked. The coffee bar is also always clean as is the microwave. Coffee is always fresh and if it isn't they immediately bring out a fresh pot. Also this location seems to be well staffed! Our compliments to the management and staff of this Johnston location! Well done!
I ordered the half order of broccoli Mac and cheese to go. The cup it came in was about 3/4 full. It maybe maybe about 4 small pieces of broccoli in it. There was hardly any pasta in it as it was very runny, more like the consistency of soup. For $6.79 it was a major rip off. Will never go there again. This was in Johnston, IA on Merle Hay Rd.
