This is literally my favorite coffee shop in the whole world, ever. You have views of the Mississippi from the back balcone, an active railroad on the front doorstep, a cute town with a beautiful bridge (or ferry these days) and a historic interior that leaves you in awe. The food is not what I call cheap but I go here for the chai lattes, views, atmosphere, history, staff, building design and experiences.....and you will not be disappointed.

I am a repeat customer and try to make Coffee on the River a stop when in the area. I love the quaint atmosphere and ability to sit on the patio with view of the river during nice weather. Also, I’ve enjoyed the food in the past. My recent experience however was disappointing. First, there was no coffee. How can you have a coffeehouse with no coffee? It was a full 1.5 hours before closing and there was no coffee. We were told only Americano was available. Tried to order a cold...
