Always have a great time. The staff is fantastic. Left my wallet last time I was there. They immediately wrapped it up with my name on it. I had over three hundred cash, checks and credit cards. All was there when I stopped by the next day around 4 pm. What a place, can't say enough good things about them.

Great spot for a group to go and grab a drink. Bartenders and the crowd are always welcoming. Have ordered the huge moscow mule a couple times, worth it. Free Pub Mix also clutch

I love the he ambiance of the place. Quaint. Unique and always great service. The area it is located in is also close to other restaurants and bars within walking distance

Walking the mean streets of downtown Marion Iowa came across this hidden gem in the alley. Nice 9:00 crowd waited on you and good view of sports TV. Interesting give it a shot. They have shuffleboard for midgets there

Have been here a couple of times but after finding out something new decided to write this review Terrible baked goods, terrible service. my co-worker called it a yeast infection of a muffin. Gross. The manager who evidently dates the owner seemed very interested in my MARRIED co-worker. Gross. The absolute dryest baked good I have had it in my 28 years on earth, the coffee was just ok - a little over priced for the quality but ok, but when you add up everything else. Gross vibes.

Went in for a beer with a couple of girlfriends. Treated like garbage by the bartender. We had recently bought the Chamber of Commerce shopping bags and asked if we could have a pin for the bag (it's a thing). The bartender said he didn't know anything about it and started to walk away but my friend pulled a picture up on her phone to show him. His response: "It doesn't change the fact I don't know what you're talking about. I'm on a need to know around here and obviously I don't need to know". He didn't try to look. He didn't say come back when someone is here to help...nothing. He just walked over to a group of male customers and continued chatting them up. As we were walking out, guess what's hanging on the wall for purchase....THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SHOPPING BAGS! Seriously. I'll skip the pin. This has ensured I will not be back and will always recommend an alternative to Uptown Snug. Apparently his manager doesn't think he "needs to know" basic customer service skills either.

Great atmosphere and service. Happy hour is 1.00 off drinks. Great outdoor area into a public area with live music. We will come back!

It's bright and Welcoming in front of house then the Irish pub serves as your seating. Extremely dark woods, not the most inviting atmosphere. We opted to sit on the outdoor patio which was much better. I order the spinach mushroom goat cheese frittata which was sooo good, I instantly wanted more. They choose a use arugula and cherry tomatoes salad. Nothing else just lettuce and 3 cherry tomatoes cut in half with a side of an vinaigrette dressing. I ordered the latte with almond milk and caramel shot. The coffee was very good, super smooth and beans were definitely not burned like in some shops. I am not super picky about flavored syrups shots but their choices were limited. They do know how to make a great cup of coffee. If your getting your food to go, it's nice, coffee definitely could become a fav however, the seating, just didn't like it. I look for places I could enjoy and hang out for while, bright, inviting and feel a little cozy. For this reason 2 stars. The food 3 stars, it was a just tad pricey for what I got and would rather liked a slice of fruit like pineapple or couple orange slices or 3 strawberries etc.. vs the Arugula tomato salad at breakfast. Coffee was worth it. They brought the food to you which was also a perk. Great place if your looking for take out and coffee. Now if you enjoy dark intimate bars, you will love the Irish pub in the back. And if you love doughnut land donuts they had a HUGE variety. Check it out and see what you think.
