Sandwich was piping hot as usual. If it’s super busy, prepare to wait 4-5 mins before being greeted. The cherry Pepsi was perfect as dual. I did notice the old Dutch chip bags suddenly shrunk in size since the last time I was here. Kind of a bummer. Overall, you can’t beat this place for a nice motorcycle or road trip to lunch.
Always try to make a stop at Taylor's Maid Rite when in the area. The basic menu is always great, although the sandwich presentation varies a little depending on the experience of the help. Both of our sandwiches arrived "wet" (a bit over juicy), possibly because that's how my wife ordered hers. If you've ever lived in the Marshalltown area, you can almost always run into someone you know, or can make a new friend with the person sitting at the "stool"...
