Always have a wonderful experience when eating at Opa! Everything I’ve had on their menu is amazing, recommend this to anyone wanting try to something in in the area!
I happened to be in Marshalltown Friday evening and decided to bring Opa home for supper for my family. I stopped in and the waiter who helped me was so friendly and nice! I ordered my husband the Gyro, his favorite, and my daughter got the kid’s pasta with red sauce. I ordered the grilled chicken kabobs and chose the chicken with rice soup, that soup is amazing!! I love this place. Plain and simple. We eat at Opa at least once a week! I havent had one single bad dish. My absolute favorite is the Napoli pasta- I get it with extra mushrooms and it really hits the spot. The strawberry cheesecake and baklava are to die for! Why are their french fries so good? Someone explain!

Based on the reviews, OPA! Grill offers an amazing experience with generous portions and great service. The food is full of flavor, with dishes like the Jambalaya packed with shrimp, chicken, sausage, and peppers over rice. Other popular menu items include the Gyro and fries, chicken Alfredo which is rich and creamy, and fish and chips that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The lemon chicken soup is really really good, and the salad is very very fresh and delicious. The dessert is immaculate, especially the tiramisu. Even when the restaurant is busy, the staff is so nice and friendly, and the service is so great. The owner personally reached out to make things right when a DoorDash order was incorrect. Overall, the food was absolutely amazing, and the welcoming atmosphere makes it a wonderful place to visit.
