If I could give this place a 6 star review, I would. Staff was amazing, food was amazing, drinks were delivered fast even though it was super busy. Even the bathrooms were a 6 star!! Needless to say, my whole family will be back again. Thank you for the fun family atmosphere in Marshalltown.

On a girls’ weekend to Marshalltown, we found Tannin while searching online and decided to try it. When first walking in, the decor and atmosphere is cool and welcoming. We took a seat and the server was with us immediately. We loved the bottle of water for the table. I had the watermelon spritzer and it was amazing! We started with the Tannin Goat Cheese Roll. It was spectacular! We could have climbed inside and eaten our way out! I had the half sandwich reubenesque with pasta salad, one had the spicy chicken wrap and the other the Tri-Salad plate. We were all thrilled with our choices and will definitely return. Our server was wonderful and that entire section of downtown fun to walk around. Check out the vertical flower wall if you visit in the summer!

I love the atmosphere! It’s such a beautiful space to sit and relax with a drink and maybe a little meat and cheese! I recommend the Diva Bread! Yummmm! I’m not a wine drinker, but the beer is always served cold !

Food was great. Service was super slow. It seems like friends/coworkers came in after we had been there for over an hour and we were still waiting for our food and then all service stopped. Having to ask multiple times for water, to go boxes, the check….

An amazing spot for yummy food and good vibes. The cookies are to die for, and the boards are always adorable! There is always a live band when we go, and the owners are the best! We look forward to going back all the time? Ohh and the champagne Volleraux is MY FAVORITE, cannot forget that ???

Tannin is the piece to make memories withvery memorable people... Mary and Tom Curley, Val and the rest of the team make you feel like family.Every visit is special, every wine is wonderful and their crostini boards are crazy good!
