Great stop if you find yourself in McGregor (which I'd recommend checking out! Cute little town on the river - border of IA and WI) We had some apps and drinks. Cute, cozy bar. Friendly staff.
Small pub style place. Went in for lunch, sat at small table for two by window. Other choice being only one would have been at the bar. Larger tables for more front and back of building. Friendly bartender/server. Food choices burgers/Sandwiches or Pizza.
My husband and I had supper there last Friday night. It was fantastic! I hadn’t had a sirloin in YEARS… it was beautifully done and they had American fries (my fav!!). The salad bar had dreamy favs and the lettuce was fresh and crisp! The tap, which is an art piece, had Pivo Guttenberg beer and they had a sour beer- raspberry (wine lovers you’d like this!) for me! My husband loved to talk to Andy about the woodwork he did for the venue. What a great night in NE IA!!
