Louie's Lakeside Bistro & BBQ

My wife and I attended a family reunion this Labor Day week-end around Lake Rathbun, IA and, per our usual custom, wanted to seek out some unique local restaurants in an area which we had never visited before. We are regulars at Louie’s every weekend and love this place! I would really like to give a shout out to the staff for working their tails off this past holiday weekend! The kitchen staff needs a standing ovation for getting food out promptly and delicious. I can honestly say they have a great group of people working together! Louie's Lakeside is a great addition to the Rathbun Lake/Marina experience. For my family when we are at the lake we are there to enjoy our time with great people. Louie's staff does everything within their possibilities to make sure we have a great experience. Tim's menu is always a hit with specials, the staff is the best! They work their butts off with a full restaurant even on a busy holiday weekend. Thanks for the great service and great time.
