I love Skinny's food. It took over Texas Roadhouse as my favorite place to eat. Well worth the 25 mile 1 way drive. If you haven't eaten here you are missing one of the best meals you will ever have!
Any time we find ourselves in Muscatine we make it a point to stop at Skinny's. So good!
were from bettendorf, last nite we make our 3rd trip to skinnys, I had brisket, and burnt ends. the wife had pastrami, everything was fantastic! Great sides, we left full. and skinny himself served us, nice guy...

Skinny's Barbeque offers fantastic food and amazing service, with a variety of options and specials. The line may be a bit long, but it moves steadily, and the restaurant provides ample seating for both indoor and outdoor dining with a view of the Mississippi River. This is the best bet for great BBQ outside of major Southern cities. Sauces have slamming flavor, smokin' good pulled pork sandwiches, and savory sides. The brisket and burnt ends are fantastic, as is the pastrami. Sides are great, and customers leave full. Skinny's has a great atmosphere and excellent Midwest hospitality. The staff is always friendly, and customers feel the love in the food. They also provide awesome customer service, even when customers make mistakes, bringing out Mac n cheese for kids. The sandwiches are loved.
