We celebrated a birthday last night at Izumi - It was fantastic, not only was our food outstanding, our service was in a league all it's own. Our server was so attentive, so quick with everything he did. We had originally thought we'd have 14 in our party, but ended up with 12, we were seating in a "private" dining room - I can't thank you enough for that - it allowed us to talk freely between the 2 tables and not feel like we were being to loud. Highly recommend the all you can eat sushi, although the hibachi was out of this world too! Thank you for a great experience- will definitely be back. Oh almost forgot the Cotton Candy Vending machine was magical too!

Izumi is hands-down one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever visited! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely incredible. Every roll we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—true works of art on a plate.
What made our visit truly special was our amazing waitress, Alex. She went above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect. Alex was so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on, and you could tell she genuinely cared about making our experience exceptional. She had the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, which made us feel completely at ease.
Izumi has definitely earned a spot at the top of my list, thanks to their outstanding sushi and Alex’s incredible service. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy delicious food and exceptional hospitality, Izumi is it. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely love Izumi. The food is fantastic and the service is exceptional. Our kids love it as well - the servers always make them feel special! Can’t say enough about this establishment, really enjoyed going when it was in Cedar Rapids, love it even more now that they have come to my home town of North Liberty!

Amazing service and food was great. Our worker was Putra and he did magic tricks for my little brother who was very mad totally changed his mood. Best service Ive ever had!

We had such a great evening here! It was nice they took reservations. The service was wonderful. It was our first time there and the server was very patient and friendly. We did the All You Can Eat. It was fun putting our order together as a group. So many great options! We had appetizers, tempura, teriyaki, and a variety of rolls. Everything was so good! The atmosphere was very nice but yet still comfortable. I would definitely return!
