Dairy Queen is great! We visit about once every couple of months. The North Liberty location is convenient for us.On this visit we were disappointed that the plain soft serve dish that we purchased for our dog, had some chocolate in the bottom. Luckily, we found that before we gave it to Parker.Most of the time it is fine, and the blizzards are great! Could use less fudge on the peanut buster parfaits, but to each their own, I guess. Just happy to have a DQ near us.
Is this heaven or is this the North Liberty Dairy Queen? I believe it may be both. Best meal I've ever had from a Dairy Queen and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. They do not skimp on the mix ins in the blizzards like most Dairy Queen's I go to. 10/10 decor in this place, I felt like I had time travelled to when I was a kid and things were easier. Overall an amazing experience, it's a long drive from home, but I will be sure to stop every time...read full review

I love Dairy Queen. Growing up in Iowa it was always a summertime treat, but now that I've moved to California they are hard to come by. Now whenever I return to Iowa I can't pass by a DQ without stopping in. This past summer, as we were taking the slow road from Iowa City up to Shueyville, we spotted this place.
