The chicken parm is my favorite dish here and our favorite spot in North Liberty for Italian.

Definitely not a true Italian restaurant . I got chicken piccata with lemon sauce , so many mushrooms and very bland. husband got spicy sausage w marina he enjoyed. Tiramisu was different and definitely different. Not an Italian atmosphere and it was so COLD in there weather was 74 outside.

My wife and I came for dinner a few weeks ago, and I’ve been going back on writing a review, but I can’t stop thinking about our disappointing experience.
I had heard so many wonderful things, and would consider giving them a second try, but the terrible service ruined our experience. Our waitress, a young blond, was incredibly unknowledgeable.
We had ordered a bottle of the Pinot noir to split. She returned with 2 glasses, and I shared my confusion as we wanted to split the bottle. She stared at us as though we were in the wrong, and said “ummm okay then I guess I’ll go ask my manager.” I had a direct view of their expo area as she whispered to her supervisor, and the supervisor stared at me. The waitress returned and said they would give us 4 glasses for the price of the bottle. A bottle has 5 glasses of wine, but I was honestly just eager to move past it and order.
My wife asked what kind of sauce came on a certain dish, and the waitress responded, “um, it’s just your basic pasta sauce.” My wife then received the incorrect salad she had ordered, and it took about 10 minutes to fix.
My wife’s pasta dish was mediocre. I ordered a sandwich, and while I did enjoy it, it was on the exact same complimentary bread that they give when you sit down. I wish I had known that when I ordered, it felt repetitive and lazy.
We then asked for our second glass of wine, and it took so long, that we ended up just requesting to be charged for just the 2 glasses so we could leave. I really wish I had had the same amazing experience as everyone else.

I am a 40 year old obsessed with Italian food. And I have to say this is the absolute best tortellini and spinach salad I have ever had. Thank you!!!!

No wait at 6:00pm on Saturday, place was 90% full. Waiter, Michael, was very nice & accommodating. Meatball appetizer & fresh bread was lovely. Lasagna and Chicken Parm were extra generous as well as delicious. Both desserts were fabulous. Will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

Stopped in for lunch as the 2 other places we went to were ridiculously overpriced! Had an Italian sandwich i believe called the bito, salad, and a drink for a great price and value. One of the best I've had. Great job my friends!!
Not amazing. Staff friendly and attentive but food was average to sub par.

Everything about our lunch today was wonderful. It was delicious! However when our server was asked to clarify our questions about two dishes on the menu, she said she would check with the manager. Wonderful! We thought that was so kind of her to do so. Unfortunately her boss reprimanded her for having to ask for help. The manager spoke so loudly, it must have been an embarrassment for our server.

Came here for lunch on Saturday, June 14th for our first visit. Friendly welcoming when we walked in and there was plenty of seating.
We started off with two appetizers. The Sun Dried Tomato and Prosciutto Dip and the Meatball Madness. Both were delicious and both kinds of bread were so good.
Then we ordered three entrées. The Chicken Parmesan, the Cannelloni, and a Pepperoni Pizza. WOW. Everything was so delicious and generous portions! Made for fantastic leftovers to take home. Everything warmed up great, too, the next day.
You have to try their version of Pepperoni. If you like Pepperoni, you will LOVE this Pepperoni. It is seriously delicious.
We purposely left a little room for dessert because you really need to get that.
We ordered the homemade Tiramisu and the Chocolate Torte. They were both as good as they look like they would be in the pictures. So delicious!
Also needs mentioned that Terri was who helped us and she was so fantastic. Couldn't have had better service! She was constantly on top of things.
Fantastic meal and we'll definitely be back!
