i started going to this location instead of the coralville one because they always messed up my order…now i don’t even want to go here. I always order the exact same thing and the biggest thing for me is i don’t eat rice and everytime i went to coralville they would give me rice and now here too? sad to see the place that never messed up my order is now just as bad as the rest :( not to mention no way to send in feedback on the app about specific orders placed and you have to come to google or help and let everyone else know and hope the higher ups may take notice

Took forever to get 2 pitiful tacos(if you could even call them that) the queso looked so soupy and nasty that I didn’t even get the chips and queso i that originally went in for. If I hadn’t wasted half of my lunch waiting to see the stale food and mess(contents of pans spilling into other pans) I would have just left. Will never eat here again. It’s pathetic what I got for what I paid. I’d give negative stars if I could, makes Taco Bell look like a 5 star restaurant ??♂️

6pm on 02/08/24 they had no steak, no chicken, no rice, no black beans, & no queso. People were in the lobby waiting for over 30 minutes for their orders.The food is good but definitely not worth the wait but this seems to be a common trend with any of their locations.

I love seeing a woman in charge!! We come to this location often because we live close and have had some bad experiences in the past (long lines, slow service, rude service) but tonight (1/6/24 @ 6pm) was such a good experience! There were two ladies running the show and doing great, the 4 guys were okay, would love if they acted a little more friendly and returned a smile ? but overall definitely seeing improvements in this store. Great work!

At first, I was ready to give up on Pancheros altogether. It seemed like every time I visited, my expectations fell short. But that all changed when I stopped at this location last night. The food was fresh and piping hot, and the employees were incredibly friendly and upbeat. Giving this establishment another chance was definitely worth it, and I'm happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner last night. Thank you so much!

There were 3 individuals on the main line at 5:30pm on a Saturday evening. There was a line in the store and for pick up. They were out of steak and the cambros were all empty and filthy. The staff were moving and doing the best they could, however the person running the cash register needs training on glove etiquette. He was rolling people's burritos and taking payments with the same gloves. I luckily had a bowl. You should never allow people to wear gloves while running the cash register. ?

Ordered online and it took 30 minutes past the pickup time to get the order. i ended up getting in line so they would make the order. The food was made carelessly, they forgot part of it and the staff memembers looked miserable. There was zero communication and zero eye contact. terrible experience and its the not first but will be the last.
How the mighty have fallen. I've been a Ponch fan most of my adult life, and all locations used to be 4-5 stars, but there has been a slip of late. This location over and over again has failed to live up to the great name of Pancheros, and I find myself going less and less. The quality just doesn't hold up to the cost anymore. The fresh pressed tortillas that I used to melt for, now feel stale and crackly. The ingredients don't taste the most fresh. I'll still eat here over Chipotle any day.

The food at this Pancheros is great! The service however not so much. The employees seem distracted lots of the time, talking to each other and not helping customers as fast as they should be. Atmosphere isn't as good as it used to be. Employees don’t really seem to care anymore, and where they prepare the food it isn’t as clean anymore. Also never order to-go from here, as it is never ready when you arrive and you have to wait extra time for it to get done. You are best off standing and waiting for your food. Expect to wait 15-20 mins during a busy time because of these things.
