Sushiya | Japanese Reviews
My friends and I had the funniest waiter, he would make us laugh every time he came back.
Place was busy, but never felt crowded. John, our server, was terrific. Answered questions and opened my drink when I got confused. (New soda drink...) Food was wonderful and slightly different from the way my usual favorites are prepared. We will be back again soon.
It's rare to find an affordable sushi restaurant that has incredible food and an incredible vibe, but Sushiya is so great that I could never think of getting sushi anywhere else in the area. Highly recommend the shitake tempura, honey, and spicy tuna rolls!

Sushiya | Japanese is a hidden gem and one of the best sushi places in the area. The sushi tastes incredibly fresh, with creative rolls that are not overcomplicated. Everything tried was excellent, and the quality and presentation show great care. Specific meals mentioned include the General Tso's chicken, crab rangoons, Philadelphia roll, and salmon roll. The lunch specials offer exceptional value. The atmosphere is nice, relaxed, and very cozy, though it can feel a little cramped and gets extremely busy. Service is great, friendly, quick, and consistently top tier. The chefs at the bar are super talented, always smiley and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious, with lots of variety even for those who do not like raw fish. Takeout is just as good as eating in person. This is a total hidden gem that surprises you once the food comes out, and it is worth stopping again every time nearby.
