“Place was busy, but never felt crowded. John, our server, was terrific. Answered questions and opened my drink when I got confused. (New soda drink...) Food was wonderful and slightly different from the way my usual favorites are prepared. We will be back again soon.“

“You can find the most authentic Taiwanese food here. The chef is from Taiwan!!! The sashimi and sushi are also good and fresh. So happy to be able to find Taiwanese food and Taiwanese people here! I am going back to try some Chinese dishes too later!!“

“We were driving through the town when we decided to try this place and the food is excellent. We are VEGANS and we found the fried tofu bento box amazing in taste, variety and freshness!! We also had 2 orders of rolls and with drinks it came out to $39. Made me want to move to this town!“

“My granddaughter asked us to take her to her new favorite restaurant.
We now understand why she wanted to travel an hour to Iowa City to eat.
Great service.
We all ordered something different and no one was disappointed.
The appetizers were very good.
My husband is very critical and even he was pleasantly surprised.
Cost was appropriate for the wonderful food.

“Luv Sumo Sushi! Great lunch and Happy Hour specials, delicious and beautiful sushi. Anthony and staff are so lovely. They brought my lunch out to the curb so I didn't have to park and walk with the broken foot!! So nice?“
