“Sushiya Japanese was such a random road trip find for us and honestly turned out to be a hidden gem. We ended up stopping there during a work trip and it was so good that we’ve now gone back again when passing through the area.

The sushi tasted incredibly fresh, the rolls were creative without being overcomplicated, and everything we tried was excellent. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. It’s one of those smaller places that completely surprises you once the food comes out.

The atmosphere is also really nice and relaxed, and the service has been great both times we’ve gone. Friendly staff, quick service, and consistently amazing food.

Definitely one of those places you wouldn’t expect to randomly find on a road trip, but once you do, you remember it and want to stop again every time you’re nearby. Total hidden gem.“

“Came for the first time yesterday. This is our new favorite! We drove from an hour away. Chips and salsa in the best we’ve ever had! Wait staff was nice and all other food was full of flavor and had great portions! It’s also really cool inside with the murals and flowers! We can’t wait to come back!“

“This is the best Starbucks in the entire North Liberty/Coralville/Iowa City area. Everyone is kind, the service is so quick and the interior is so modern like what you would see in a large city!

“As a former professional brewer and certified beer judge, I can honestly say that the beer at Field Day is as good as it gets. I sampled many of the lagers and IPA’s, and all were excellent. The Czech Pils was my favorite. The food is also great. We sampled the egg rolls and gyro loaded fries. Service was excellent. There were a couple of beer order snafus, but our server, Madi, made it right. The Iowa City area craft beer scene is great, and Field Day is at the top of my list. Great food, beer and service. And the atmosphere is really good, too.“

“I am a celiac and was pleasantly surprised that they have a whole gluten-free menu with lots of options! One of the servers said that she is a celiac, too. That was cool.
The only thing that made me nervous was the wooden cutting boards they served my gluten free food on. Not sure how they clean them, or if they keep them separate from gluten serving boards, but I know we should mistrust all wooden utensils due to their absorbency. These had obvious cut marks on them and everything.
Happily though, I didn't feel and signs of being glutened. With major gluten ingestions I definitely feel symptoms, and I had none to report here. Hopefully that bodes well.

Dietary restrictions: Celiacs may want to be wary but I think that, pending confirmation about their serving boards, this should be safe. I did not experience symptoms of having gotten glutened, at least. The food was delicious.“

“SO happy to see that Saigon’s Corner is now on Chomp! (Maybe this isn’t new, but I don’t remember seeing them there before). We got a ton of food for a very reasonable price, it was very well packaged (pho broth separate from noodles, veg, protein, etc), arrived in a very reasonable time (even on a Saturday night) and it was all fresh and really delicious. We easily have enough for lunch for both of us tomorrow as well. We will definitely be ordering again, and can’t wait!!“

“Found this place looking for a healthy menu while we were driving past Iowa City to Chicago. So glad we made the stop. Great location to see the University and enjoy some great food. I had the Açaí bowl and it was amazing, my husband had the turkey wrap which was a healthy choice for him 😊. The staff was super pleasant.
