We saw an old sign on the road, it looked so old we thought for sure the place didn't actually exist anymore. But we were hungry and intrigued! After going a few miles with no further evidence of an ice cream/sandwich shoppe we assumed we were out of luck. Thankfully my husband looked up and saw the restaurant's sign as we were passing through an intersection. The building looked modern and quaint. Was on a long road trip, hot summer evening. Hate Dairy Queen but hoping to see a sign along the interstate. Saw the sign for Jon's and took a chance. Best caramel malt I ever had. Cute girls working the counter. Happy kids running around with ice cream on their shirt. Watch out for the cops waiting for people like me to come roaring into town where it's suddenly 25mph.

Super ice cream treats and a cut above your usual seasonal dairy stop! Soft serve and hard packed scoops with real flavor creativity (black raspberry pomegranate sorbet was on offer today). We only ate outside, but the restaurant looked cute!
