“This place has atmosphere. First thing I thought when I walked in. I want my band to play this bar. The owner was extremely cool- a very down to earth and friendly guy. I would love to hang out there some night and watch the eye candy.I hope we can book the place. I think it would be an awesome gig.“
“I was flirting with a woman and it was going fairly well she decided I wasn't the one for her. But instead of her telling me that I'm not the one for her a guy wearing a hotshots shirt told me in not so many words to never have contact with her again and threatened to throw me out. I was nice enough to her and In all fairness had spent my money the night before at the casino and didn't buy her a drink and was only drinking pop because I don't drink much anymore. I don't recommend this place for somebody that just wants to socialize without alcohol. I'm slow at remembering faces and names for refrence if I'm allowed to come back here. “15 minutes before they had to turn off the grill and they still msde our order. A small chicken salad ? chicken strips and a Philly Steak. Everything was done in 13 minutes and they gave me a time of 15 minutes. So it was even done early, very friendly, clean and I have to say the food is amazing. Will be back again and the portion size and quality was five star ⭐ service. Thank you guys“
“Traveled from out of state for the drag races at Eddyville Raceway and found this gem of a restaurant called Melody's Kitchen. The minute we sat down at a table next to a husband, wife, and their mother, we felt welcomed. They told us all about the community. The wait staff was just as welcoming. Going on was a high school reunion with professional karaoke and people having fun. I had a jalepeno bacon cheeseburger that was outstanding. The french fries and buttermilk ranch dipping sauce was the best I have ever had. My friends had a bloody mary and philly cheesesteak. Everything was made from scratch and homemade. We were able to meet Melody and she even sent us back to the hotel with pork tenderloin and sides for the next day at the race track. Definitely a family vibe restaurant with the best homemade food. Thank you Melody and staff. We will be back next time we are in Eddyville.“
“Great food and service. Plenty of room, not too busy on an early Friday evening. Apps were cheap but good: cheese balls, o-rings, pickle chips, and mini corn dogs. Fried loin was thick, well seasoned and delicious. Philly steak and cheese had a lot of flavor, served on grilled Texas toast. Booths a little rough, but got the job done. If we're near Eddyville again, we'd come back.“
“I work in this area from time to time and always make it a point to stop by this great spot. Cool atmosphere friendly staff! Wide variety of beers on tap. They had a private party going on earlier and owner made it a point to make sure I had something to eat ( on the house ) very cool! I felt right at home.The potential of this place is endless!
