It's a loose meat sandwich. It's a great place to get one though and the v people working seem to really enjoy it. Love a destination spot. Seating is scarce so you will wait and somehow that makes it more cool.
First time here and won't be my last. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.The loose meat sandwich was very good as well as the service. My understanding the canteen lunch in the alley has been here since 1927. It is a old school experience and a great place to have lunch.
This famous, 100-year-old, hole-in-the-wall eatery lives up to its reputation for loose meat sandwiches and an enormous variety of really good pie. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. I was too busy enjoying the pie
