When we walked in the place was busy but not full capacity. We were told there were no tables and it would be a 30+ minute wait, but we could sit at the bar and order drinks (which we did) and even food if we choose to eat there. Since it was a celebration for a birthday we decided we would order an app to hold us over til the table was ready. We visit The Port each time we go to the lake. It's so fun to arrive by boat and listen to the band. The food is always outstanding one of the best wedge salads I've ever had. I do have to say the Cocktails were not very good this trip.

Had a wonderful dinner at the Port this evening. I regret I hadn’t made it over for dinner this summer before tonight. The food was delicious. The steak on my steak sandwich was perfectly cooked. Not overdone like most. The staff were very friendly and attentive. And obviously the view is difficult to beat at sunset We will be back soon.
