“We found this place as it is a half waypoint between us and some good friends to meet and eat! Very good food! Service was friendly and prompt. It was the perfect place for us to get away and see some good friends. We have not seen in a while. We will be back! On short notice I needed to have a get together with over 20 people and when we all showed up they had everything already set up with the tables set and decorations even for the birthday party! Then food was ordered and came out fast! “Nothing to do with service... it's just that I'm paying 3.50 more for a ft long and getting less! Before inflation and everything I used to get a footlong every week. I used to be able to get cilantro added on my sandwich these jalapeno mixture on my sandwich and it seemed like there was more meat before for what are the same price but now I don't get any of those added things on there because they don't have them. I get inflation but I don't get them taking away what you used to be able to get on your sandwich and charging you the same price or more.”

“Let me just set the scene really fast,It’s Sunday and you’ve been moving since Friday.You’re in the new house with nice white carpets but the coffee maker isn’t available… You go to scooters for some sweet relief and bring home a drink you can only assume was made by the hands of Jesus himself and three kids smoothies.The toddler manages to sneak her smoothie and then proceeds to run around with it. She then decides to spin in circles and let it go right before you capture the creature….THE CUP DIDNT POP OPEN.This five star review is mainly for the fact that the design of these kids cups are superior. “The Lied Lodge is among the best hotels in Nebraska that I've stayed in. The service was friendly and professional. The decor is cozy and comfortable with an arbor day theme which is not surprising given that it's in Nebraska City. The double queen room with vaulted ceiling was clean, the beds were comfortable and the view out back was great. We enjoyed the Olympic pool and hot tub. We didn't eat dinner here but we did have breakfast which was good though the food was lukewarm. Beware that you have kids, the French toast sticks aren't really sticks, instead it's an child size portion of the adult French toast. We also enjoyed the library lounge which has a nice fireplace. Out back you'll find a fire pit and hiking trails one of which leads to Arbor Day Farm which has a small market, wine and cider tastings and a barbecue restaurant. This may become an annual vacation spot for us.”

“These guys have been doing their best since the pandemic. The food has been consistent even if the service is a bit slow sometimes. They've only gotten my order wrong one time because they left an item out. But, I called back immediately & they were apologetic & had my missing item ready by the time I turned around & went back.”
