Food not as good as previous owners and was very disappointed
People love to hate on this place but I have been here many times throughout many years without an issue! The owner is very kind and starts conversations with me, the employees as well are very kind and respectful. I’ve ever been “up charged” and always find my food at a reasonable price. Sometimes $11 for my to-go plate. Owner has also given me free soup before! Love to come here and will continue to come back!
The owner is a great guy. Its definitely a place worth checking out. Sit down and eat . Support your local businesses

Metro Buffet is a top spot for Chinese food, serving fresh and hot dishes with great service. The friendly and professional staff provide quick attention, making it a wonderful restaurant experience. The egg drop soup is a standout, and the buffet offers a wide variety of choices. The owners are caring and dedicated, ensuring a clean and respectful atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Overall, Metro Buffet is a highly recommended destination for Chinese cuisine in Iowa.
