The best authentic Mexican food I've had in ages! Very flavorful and made with the intention to be the best in the area. The owner was very friendly and made sure you enjoyed your meal. If you're from Prairie du Chien and you're tired of our boring Mexican cuisine in town I suggest you try this place out!
The best chicken fajitas we have ever eaten. Seared to perfection. Thanks to Ricky Ricardo and wife Lucy.
My chimichanga was soooo good!

El Pariente Restaurant serves authentic Mexican food to perfection, with fast service and reasonably priced dishes. The restaurant has undergone recent renovations, including new menus and flooring. The staff is friendly, with one of the cooks often coming out to chat with customers. The atmosphere is kid-friendly, with plenty of parking available. It's a hidden gem off the beaten path, highly recommended for its delicious street tacos and Mexican beer.
