Nice tavern in a nice little town in Iowa! Friendly folks and just a nice pleasant place To stop for a meal or drink with friends. I had a ham sandwich with fries. Nice thick slice of ham. Grilled with cheese. Extremely tasty! Fries were crinkle cut and deep fried to perfection. Wow, a tavern that actually recycle their fryer oil!
The service and food is amazing. Everything's reasonably priced from sandwiches to drinks. Has a small town hunting shack kinda feel that comes as very welcoming. People are very helpful and attentive leaving you wanting to go back. Even my kids enjoyed with the 1919 frosted rootbeer mugs and kid friendly appetizers. We look forward to a return visit.
