I have been waiting since 2016 for wings from Joe's ( jesup location is the one I used to go to when I lived there) fast forward moving back to this area & now living in Independence im SOOO happy to have a Joe's near by & i am literally sooooo happy with the wings!! “Was recommended to us by a friend. Stopped in after shopping on a Saturday afternoon. The people were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was pleasant, service was quick and food was DELICIOUS! “Mom & Pop (locally owned) bar. Delicious food re: patty melt & nachos. I ordered 1/4 order of nachos & had plenty to take home. Waitress / bartender very friendly & attentive. LARGE SELECTION ON MENU!! as well as usually beer & liquor drinks available.

“Modeled after Mr Stir Fry in Sioux City... but have to say that the food was very good, definitely going back. The name of the restaurant is confusing.... nothing about the name "Lucky Buffet" suggests in any way "CHINESE." Probably would do better with a name change more appropriate.”

“What a hidden gem! We were in town for the 1st time for our nephews archery competition and stopped. We didnt expect the food to be so exceptional. Probably the best bar food we have ever had. Small, quaint, friendly. They had an unexpected crowd & still managed to nail it with friendly service! We will make the hour drive from home to experience it again. My husband had the Philly & highly recommends it! I had a burger & it was fantastic!”

“Its been a very long time since I've been surprised by my meal especially from a fast food place. Coming back home from a long drive on Saturday August 8th it was kismet seeing the Golden Arches appear before me. Having never before stopped to eat at this particular McDonald's I ordered my usual of a Quarter pounder with cheese. In the past I literally grew up on fast food so I knew what to expect. Today's offering was a complete surprise. My sandwich arrived tender, juicy and prepared to order. Meat was cooked just right. Veggies were crisp and tasty. And best of all it took me five napkins to eat it.
Great job. Hats off to all the workers at this McDonald's location. In my opinion if you are anywhere near here stop and enjoy.
I didn't see any food debris on the floor. The lobby area was clean. Parking lot was free of any garbage. It was lit up and safe with plenty of handicapped spots. Restaurant itself sits on a level plot of land so easily accessible to wheelchairs. Kids menu offered. I just ordered sandwich only.”
