“I love sister’s place for so many reasons. The staff is amazing. They always make my husband and I feel like we’re party of the sister’s place family. The food is also VERY good. Obviously it’s not Johnny’s but it’s the best bar food I’ve had. I love that they always do specials to change it up a bit. Gives me something to look forward to. Lastly, I love all the events from live music, to trivia, to music bingo sister’s place has it all!🖤“

“I love this place, everyone that goes there are so friendly and nice i love the atmosphere there we are all there to enjoy ourselves and have fun specially on Saturday to watch our Hawkeyes play. Also luv that they carry Pickle ? beer my favorite. I go at least once a week if i can.“
“Asked Reddit what the dirtiest dive bar in Altoona was to go to while me and my husband were here for Adventureland all weekend, they said Old Towne Tap and it did not disappoint when we watched a roach crawl across the bar 💀 honestly was a 10/10, we love a good dirty dive. Perfect for an in an out drink! Bartender working Saturday night was very nice; tip her good!“
