“Love the Tavern! We try to make it there once a week. I’m sure all the food is good but I can’t go here and not get a cheeseburger! I get a baby burger double cheese and is perfect for a lighter appetite. They do have a papa burger that’s big as the plate. Crinkle fries make it even better!”

“I grew up in Chariton and I’ve been very excited to watch the development of The Charitone and the square over the last several years. This past week, we decided to take a road trip, and Iron Horse at The Charitone was our choice for lunch. Great menu, and our server Nevaeh was wonderful. Our group ordered the tenderloin sandwich, the pastrami Reuben, the House Burger, and the crispy chicken salad. Everything was delicious, drinks were kept filled…very pleasant lunch. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely used to love going to hyvee until they quit caring about the town their distribution center is located in. They took away the services that most of the other stores have (meat counter, deli, bakery, kitchen) always out of stock on almost everything and the distribution center is in the same town. Very sad we have to drive 30 to 45 min to a different town (smaller store) to get what we need, and because of the inconvenience we definitely don't go to hyvee for having to drive.”

“Let me start off by saying im from hillsville VA and it was a nice surprise to walk into a place over 14 hours away ( 930 miles) and see a spot from home haha. The water wheel on the wall is the blue ridge parkway water wheel and kinda took me back haha. I ate 2 times here today one for lunch and then got take out for dinner. Both times staff was very nice and food was great! Even at the end of the day it was still hot and fresh. I got a Togo plate and it was around 16.00. 100% will be coming back here of i get work here again!”

“I always come to subway, good food, friendly staff. Don't recommend ordering online it's never correct or made on time (app says it's done yet I Always get stuck waiting because it isn't) in store though it's great.”
