I walked out with nothing less than cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls and ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for my 2nd trip. When I was called to tell me my cake was ready, I picked it up and brought it home. With one small corner of a bite, I found heaven dipped in chocolate on a chocolate cloud of chocolate love”

One of the girls mixed up my order ONE time (of the many that I've gone there to get coffee for my office staff). I messaged the owner and he went above and beyond to make it right! Everyone makes mistakes occasionally, after all, we're all human! But the actions afterwards is what stands out to me that this is a fantastic local business!”

“Last night we went to Brad's Pad in West Point.It was my first time ever going.I have always been told the pizza was really good but noone could have prepared me for how good it really was.I don't eat the crust on pizza.Ever.Eww.Unless that crust was made by Brad's Pad. I'm not even kidding, it was so good I ate the crust!!We both got individual pizza's but we shared.He got the Sweet Chili Chicken and I opted for their Bacon Cheeseburger.Both pizza's get an A+ in our book!On the way out we grabbed a little sandwich baggie that contained 2 Fluffy cookies for a snack when we got home.I only regret not grabbing allllll the cookies. It could very well be the best cookie I ever did eat.But listen, I didn't really come here just to tell you about our dinner.I have to talk about our waiter.This young man approached our table, eager to take our order, with a huge smile on his face.I don't know what his name is or who his parents are but whoever they are, YOU HAVE DONE AN AMAZING JOB raising this boy.He was constantly working.Attentive.Happy.Kind.And he truly looked like he loved his job.He provided us with exceptional service the entire time we were there!So as for Brad's Pad... I give it all the stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️The only problem I see in the future is what do we pick next to try!?It all looks so good!”

“The Underground is one of those local places you hope for- really good food and a welcoming vibe. We moved to the area relatively recently and this has become one of our favorite places. Food is always great - Roo-tails are their defining item (and anything they put them in is delicious) but don't forget the Philly cheesesteak, pork tenderloin, any of the wraps, pizza, and any of their daily specials. Like many places these days - they are sometimes tight on staff so enjoy a drink and the "comfy joint" atmosphere - ultimately they will take good care of you. And leave a little room for the apple pie or other deserts!”

“Now this place is a real bar! If you prefer fancier venues this may not be for you but I really dig it, true dive bar. Cozy place to hang out with extremely friendly people and that make all the difference. A very nostalgic type hangout with plenty to do. Had a marvelous time here playing pool and BSn with the regulars”

“If you’re in Iowa it’s hard to find good authentic Mexican. This place is great however. Realize this is Iowa and locals seem to prefer bland non-Spicey food so be prepared for the food to be very mild by default. If you want authentic be sure to ask for it. The wonderful thing is they know and will give you Spicey if you ask for it. My favorite dish is steak chimichangas - ask for steak cause it’s not on the menu. Better than the beef IMHO. House salsa is flavorful as is, but you can add hot sauce if you like.”
