It's ok for some quick cafe/dinner food. Was left a bit disappointed being served instant mash potatoes though.

We ordered a pumpkin spice coffee, onion rings, a Philly wrap, and the Fish and Shrimp Dinner. The pumpkin spice coffee tasted alcoholic, somehow. It was horribly bitter and acidic. The onion rings were fine, good even. The ranch, however, was watered-down and horribly thin. At first my partner suggested it was homemade because of its consistency. If this is homemade ranch, please switch to a commercial alternative.

The soups that came with the meals were good. Canned, for sure, but from quality cans which I can appreciate for what they are. The real problem was the Philly wrap. I should have taken more photos to display the sheer scale of the portion, I could cover the whole wrap with my hand. It was $10.75 for a wrap the size of a McDonald’s breakfast wrap. You know, the ones available for purchase TWO AT A TIME because of their small size. My Fish and Shrimp dinner was subpar, but nothing horrible. The fish is advertised as “freshly breaded”, quotations included. The quotations do a lot of heavy lifting in this claim as the breading was soggy by the time it arrived at the table.

I still tipped 18% because I’m not a monster and this wasn’t the waitress’ fault. She was very sweet and came around to check on us.

Overall: I write this scathing but honest review to ward off future customers. This is assuredly the most unfortunate $50+ dollars I have ever spent.

I really love Hirizon too. Its Broasted chicken is number 1 the family love this place.

Good food and great selection. And I definitely recommend the Polar Bear Ice Cream Waffle. 10/10

I really enjoyed my meal at Horizon Family Restaurant because it had that perfect, cozy neighborhood feel that makes you want to stay for a while. The menu is packed with comfort food options that hit the spot, and everything I ordered tasted homemade and fresh. The service was super friendly and attentive, making sure my coffee was always full without being annoying. It is not the fanciest spot in town, but it is definitely one of the most welcoming, and I would gladly come back whenever I am in the area.

I had a wonderful breakfast here and was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The dining area was very clean and had a cozy, neighborhood feel that made me want to sit back and stay a while. The service was excellent, with a server who was attentive and made sure my coffee stayed full without me ever having to ask. As for the food, the portions were generous and everything tasted like it was made from scratch with high-quality ingredients. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hash browns were seasoned just right and had that ideal crispy texture. It is a fantastic spot for a reliable, delicious meal where you really feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.

One of the absolute best places i can ever remember going to! Old school feel. Food is amazing! I got Country fried steak. Taterz & a salad from the salad bar... only time I touched my fork was to eat the salad. 💯 %. The staff is top notch as well. Compliments to each other. Wait staff & kitchen. It was crazy. I haven't enjoyed an atmosphere this much since I was a kid. Small town boy. Going back in a cpl weeks.

Experienced a miscommunication where our table was cleared without being served, manager rectified the situation, and respected our complaint, she handled the entire situation with grace. We recieved our order to-go instead and the food was fresh and delicious. I have a lot of respect for the way she resolved the situation.

Horrible service. Food was not good at all me and my kids decided to go here for a quick dinner My food didn't even get made till my kids were done eating and they charge me almost $11 in gratituity without letting me know the table was filthy two of my kids had to send their silverware back cuz it literally had food on it. The floor had napkins and food on it. They wouldn't even box my meal up to go they brought it to me on a plate as we were walking out and made me put it in it to go box.
This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but I will never go back absolutely horrible.
