This gem is tucked away if you are not familiar in the area. Its across from Davenport cleaners. We got there and it was clean and quiet. I can't believe I didn't ask our waitress for her name. She was so sweet and I loved her energy!! She was great at recommending food to try. I got the pozole with chicken. My mother got a flauta plate. My family and I wanted to try somewhere new in Sioux City and decided to check out La Fogata. So glad we did everything was delicious! Not sure how we hadn’t tried it sooner. The asada tacos were amazing, especially with the handmade tortillas. We’ll definitely be back! Our server not sure of her name was amazing as well. Super sweet
I work all over Iowa and love Mexican food! First time here and I can’t believe I was the only one there during lunch! People you need to eat here!! Amazing pozole! My server was amazing and she described all the specials not on the menu! 10 stars!!!! I’ll be back!!
