The whole staff was respectful and kind.

I just had to try this, and went out of my way to make it happen. I'm glad I did. The staff greeted me immediately and were quick and helpful with my order. The chili is definitely NOT the normal chili you would expect on a chili dog. No, it's better. Perfectly suited for the dog (did I detect star anise?).

I went with the chili dog with mustard, chips, and a root beer float, and my only regret is that I didn't order two dogs, maybe even something different. If I'm passing through Sioux City again, I will absolutely find time to stop in again.

The home to the greatest chili dog in the world!! Absolutely amazing. My go to is the bow wow washed down with a Sioux City Sarsparilla. Hands down the best lunch spot in Sioux City, and it's not even close.

A legendary local eatery. If you like hot dogs, this is your place! At least three generations of a Sioux City family have made this place so wonderful. Check it out! Close to the Hard Rock Casino and downtown.

Parking: Parking is super easy!

Kid-friendliness: Kids love Milwaukee Weiner. Bring all the kids. Even the neighbor's kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: My Momma has no trouble getting into and out of this restaurant. Plenty of handicapped parking spaces.

I have been going to Milwaukee Wiener House since I was a kid, back when they were in their older building; one thing that has remained the same is the exceptionally friendly service and Iowan hospitality.

They offer classic style hotdogs, with clean tables and serving trays. While the hotdogs buns can get very soggy in certain styles, they are delicious nonetheless. The restaurant also offers a walk-up window, so you can order outside if you'd like.

If you're ever in Sioux City and you like hotdogs, stop at Milwaukee Wiener House!
