We try to go for brunch at Minervas after Church on Sundays as often as we can do so with our schedule. Brunch is excellent, except that I must say that the biscuits are on the HARD SIDE--definitely not soft/fluffy style Southern biscuits; and, the gravy, on occasion, is hard, that is, the gravy needs more moisture in it's composition in order to put it over one's biscuit if one desires to do so. Attentive staff, nice atmosphere, and, good selection of breakfast items that we enjoy having for brunch. I am glad that we do have a restaurant of high quality such as Minervas here in Sioux City.Parking: Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

I feel like it's gone downhill. My $9 martini was less than half full, the lettuce wraps were just chicken & carrots with floppy lettuce. Chicken Marsala was good. Drinks menu was very small. Too spendy for what you get.

It’s a great place with a great happy hour. Only let down tonight was 2 of the beers that people at my table ordered were both out of stock.

The waiter was just the perfect level of attentive and very intuitive about making suggestions. Food was excellent and prepare exactly as requested for all three of us. Restaurant was quiet enough for us to pleasantly carry on our conversation. Part of the party was running late and the host suggested that I could be seated while I waited and I had an always full cup of great coffee while I waited. Highly recommended.

They brought my bottle of wine out. And just sat it on the table. I had to pop on own cork and fill my own glass. In addition I didn't eat ANY my meal because my walleye was extremely salty. Yet I still had to pay for it. Very very poor. Not worth the price tag!!!!!! I left and went across the parking lot and got a delicious quarter pounder from the mcD's. 577-7009

Our server Courtney was the best!!! She was attentive and gregarious. The soup of the day was not as listed, and she did her best to help with choices available. The wine I chose was not available, and she brought an excellent substitution. I can not praise enough how she made our family anniversary celebration special. My Cajun linguine was very good
