“First time my husband and I visited, we were so extremely disappointed. I reached out privately to 1854 Grille to inform them of our experience, the GM (Kat) called me personally and was so apologetic and offered to make things right for us by trying them again. We agreed, so thankful she offered to do that and that we tried again because our experience was a complete 180. We got sat this time by the fireplace, 10/10 recommend! Was warm and a bit more of a sweet seat for a sweet date! Our server was Marcus, he was phenomenal and so well mannered! Food was excellent. Everything came out promptly and our order was correct the first time. Kat and Marcus definitely gave us a great experience! We will be back again!“

“Mahi fish tacos. I get it. Middle of the country, fresh Mahi isn't going to be an option. That being said, the fish tacos were harder to eat than the saltine cracker challenge! Seriously, y'all need to do something about that. Add some Chipotle sauce or something and over power the dryness with flavor. Beer was fantastic! Martoberfest for the win! 1 star on the tacos, 3 stars for the beer.“

“Our waitress was super sweet Ashtyn (not sure if correct spelling) and even though my side of mac n chz and shrimp was on the colder side everything tasted amazing. The manager came after waitress asked if all was okay , it tasted great just not very warm, and Ahe apologized. I feel he over did making things right but appreciated. I told him too everything was great just not very warm which I get “it happens”. Hubbies food was perfect. Everything else was great and will go back again. Nobody is perfect and it’s super busy I am understanding and patient everyone is short staffed and over worked“

“We had our company Christmas party there and it was amazing!! The staff was so helpful and took a lot of stress away. We were able to bring in our own food and not have to spend more on catering. We got positive feedback from our employees as well. There’s a lot to do and plenty of room. Can’t wait to go back and try it out on date night with the hubby 😊.“

The 2 ladies (I presume they were the bartenders, whereas I believe the rest of the people behind the bar were barbacks) behind the bar were extremely polite, helpful, and go out of their way to talk to you and make sure you are having a good time. They had good knowledge of the whiskeys on hand, and made a great suggestion for a whiskey to try! The rest of the staff is helpful too, but a tad less interactive (this may have just been due to the time I went in, as they did seem busy...) They are a little limited in what cocktails they make, but their style of drinks caters well to the crowd they are targeting. It does seem to be a bar aimed at a young crowd, which is refreshing in a way. Overall, it was a pretty good time! I will definitely have to come back!“

“Outstanding food! I ordered chicken curry, lamb korma, butter paneer and garlic Naan. Food is delicious not too heavy same as homemade. Garlic Naan is too die for just so soft & tasty. We are staying at the hotel for 2 days and was craving for homemade Indian and this place with the food hit the spot!

“Drove all the way from Sioux Falls, SD to get Old Chicago. We had Jahni as our server. She was prompt, friendly, talkative. Our food was excellent. A tad sad they didn’t have spicy marinara, but above all great. Would recommend to anyone, and above all our service was excellent. Will definitely make the over an hour drive again for Old Chicago!“

“They have amazing food I’ve been there numerous times with my Family and siblings and sometimes my GodFather and cousins when they come into town from Colorado and It’s always a fun experience with them and the service Chick-Fil-La is amazing they are kind professional and polite and the service is amazing too I’d definitely recommend eating here.“

“So this is my first bad review for Jersey Mike's. It was my first warm sandwich too. I ordered online and picked up in the restaurant. I would not recommend getting the the philly chicken #16. It had way too much bread to chicken / other stuff ratio. On the first bite it almost stuck in my throat. The bread was very dry. Chicken meat was just ok. It needed sauce or mayo or something else on it. I have had the chicken salad and other cold sandwiches which were all fantastic! I would never waste my money and order this again. I am going back for the cold sandwiches.“

“Went with mom for dinner last week. We were greeted immediately by the host and sat at booth in the bar area. Our server was nice (sorry I can’t remember her name), prompt, explained the kiosk thing on the table that you pay the bill with and can sign up for rewards with (as an ex-server I appreciated her smooth but not pushy pitch), and checked on us throughout our stay. Mom got the whiskey bbq burger with onion rings which looked delicious. Since I’m watching my calories and sodium (sign I’m getting old lol) I choose the avo-Cobb-o salad with balsamic vinegar dressing which came on the side. The menu listed calories for each item which was handy (dressing not included). I asked for a small thing of bleu cheese dressing when ordering just in case since that’s what I’d normally order with this kind of salad, but wound up not needing it. My salad was big and delicious! Mom really liked her order too. We sat awhile after eating just catching up and our server checked on us to make sure we had enough water to drink. Not gonna lie I sometimes used to use that line to gently get ppl out the door lol but it didn’t seem to be the case here. It took a bit to figure out how to use our gift card which was our own fault though and left a few extra bucks than what we originally put on the table for our server since we sat there longer than we anticipated.

“One of my favorite locations. This one has a wonderful ambience and always has great service with crew members who go above and beyond. This one is the most festive during the Christmas season, lights and everything. This one is conveniently near Sneaky's and other places in this classic business district, and a great place to stop at just for a Frosty like it's an ice cream shop. This one is usually clean and well-kept. Seating is nice and comfy.“
