I celebrated my birthday this weekend and had SUCH a great experience at the Shack. We started on the other end of fourth street, and honestly had such a bad time that we were ready to call it quits at like 1030, which is honestly past my bed time anyways, but one of my friends convinced me to make the trek down towards the Hard Rock. The bars were so full they had spilled out onto the street and it felt like one wrong move would cause a fight. It was seriously anxiety inducing for this old homebody - but when we wandered into the shack it was like walking into another dimension. The Shack is an island of joyful chaos in a sea of aggressive alpha frat bros. It was loud, sure, but because everyone was having a blast. It was a very diverse crowd for a small midwestern city, and the owner managed to be incredibly kind while still keeping things moving efficiently. I don’t get out much, but when I do I will definitely be going back!

The food is the big draw hear. I myself have only had the Mississippi Pot Roast but it was so good. Plus all their other offerings look amazing. Nice to have some decent BBQ in Sioux City.
We visited this place on 29 July 2023. The place is small and cozy - and was not crowded as we arrived for lunch and some drinks. Maria was in charge and made the visit sooo nice. Really nice to chat to (My wife and I were there for about an hour and a half). The drinks are good and the sliders very good. And made in a relatively short time. Definitely a place to go for drinks, fast lunch and a good time.

Ain't nothing better better then getting a fresh cut while chatting it up with the boys. During my visit Rodney was a friendly guy and there was not akward scilents between us. If your looking for a quick cut stop by the shack. 10/10

Poor bartending to say the least. First and last time at this establishment. Place was vacant, 6 customers total. There is a gal named Leslie bartending, I ask for a bud heavy bottle. She threw her arms in the air and says what do you want? I iterated Budweiser bottle. She opens a can then tells me they don't have bottles. Terrible customer service. Will not return.
