Ended up here last night for dinner simply because we couldn’t decide on a place and it looked ok when we drove by. Staff was friendly and inviting, food was all AMAZING….like really good. The only thing we agreed on was the salsa was just ok. Still good, but have definitely had better. Would definitely go back. Just started a 6 day trip….may come back again before we leave…👌
I know that there is no shortage of Mexican food in the area, but these guys are hands down the best. They have this verde sauce that is so spicy and creamy it’s amazing. I just recently tried the pollo loco and the chicken was flavorful and tender. Their guacamole and rice is also the best I’ve ever had
Coming from California we have high expectations for what we consider great Mexican food. We know Iowa isn’t know for their Mexican food, but … this place does! I felt right at home and truly enjoyed every bite. A gem of a place in this lake town. We will be back! But first we have to eat our leftovers. The portions were big!
