“Terrible experience, very disappointed with our visit today. We talked about going there all weekend because we enjoy the 86. Drove over an hour to get there by four today because they were closing early. The girl at the front was very sweet. We were very excited to be there and told her it was our first time there. She said we could sit down and order or go to the bar. We sat down and several servers looked at us, but no one waited on us. We went to the bar and said we had never been there before. A guy said there is a menu on the counter but I'll be over there cleaning, let me know what you want and walked away. We had no idea what we were doing since it was our first time there. I wanted to try wines and my husband whiskey, but not if no one wanted to wait on us. So, we looked at each other and decided to leave. Once in the parking lot I realized it was a long way home and I should use the restroom first. So, I went back in, and I told the girl behind the counter we were leaving because no one waited on us, but I needed to use the restroom first. When I came out of the restroom she said to enjoy the rest of our day. Would have had a better day if we could have tried something... Went from very excited to be there to can't wait to leave...”

“I excitedly noticed this place one evening whilst out walking my dog and made sure to stop in the following day because I haven't come across a Kava bar in over ten years since living down in Melbourne Florida, and my interest was piqued. The owners were quite friendly and a pleasure to engage in conversation with. The atmosphere is cozy and decorated so that it adds a bit of a "welcome home" aesthetic to it and makes it feel more like you're dropping in to see a friend than you are to shop. There's adequate and comfortable seating throughout as well as patio seating. I can see this as a nice spot to stop and relax outside of with my pup while enjoying a much needed break from life now and then. The Kava drink that I indulged in was fairly priced and delivered well on the desired effects expected of it. Kava and Kratom are two amazing plants that have helped me get through some of the tougher obstacles of life, and better enjoy the simpler times as well. It's a very welcomed addition to Savannah because it brings a much needed social (and possibly transcendental) outlet for those of us that aren't otherwise interested in the typical bar scene. I highly recommend that you research and give them both (kava and kratom) a try, and I also highly recommend you stop into this establishment and enjoy what they have to offer. Thank you. “The Godfather's is in a gas station, so the atmosphere is not very relevant. Every time I have ordered from them, the pizza is perfect, looks perfect, and is delicious! The staff for the Godfather's pizza is so friendly, helpful, and makes you feel like they remember you each time you walk in. I would recommend them to anyone! And don't forget the struesel pizza, it is well worth the extra trip to the gym for!!”

“We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for 20 people at Groundswell last week and it was awesome! Brittany helped me decide on the menu (chicken piccata, pasta carbonara, and focaccia pizza were the entree options for our group) which Jack cooked for us. They made sure our guest who had gluten sensitivity had a delicious meal too. My guys were thrilled that they featured local Millstream beers, along with a nice selection of wine. Great atmosphere and delicious food. Everyone remarked on how great it was. Glad we had our event here!”
