“We met family at Templeton on a hot Saturday in July. It was the perfect activity! I have done several distillery tours before but this one was very unique compared to the others. There is the history element of bootlegging in the Midwest and getting product to Chicago and both coasts. There is the local history that is amazing about the area. Unlike older distilleries, this one was built not very long ago with tours in mind. This tour is worth the trip and the rye is astonishing good. Pro-tip: Come early and view the walk through museum first. There is too much to see during the tour. Save the gift shop after your taste test and any other drinks you order.“
