“Stopped in on a whim one morning because I was going to go to HyVee to get a loaf anyway but figured I'd try it out. And I was not disappointed! Even just the Honey Wheat bread is good, which is saying something. I bought a lemon poppyseed loaf I'm stoked to try out! Will be returning.“

“Our family went out to a late lunch here today. The service was awesome, and the food was absolutely wonderful. We took advantage of their September special, and were able to try several menu items. “Just stopped in for the first time and WOW!!! These macarons are absolutely INCREDIBLE! If I lived closer, I would genuinely be here every single day. I love all of the flavors I picked out, but they gave me a free Cinnamon Bun macaron to try and it was easily the best thing I have eaten in a very very long time. I will be anxiously awaiting the next time I have an excuse to run to Ankeny and pick more of these up! Edited to add: I was so excited about the macarons that I forgot to comment on the delicious coffee I got! I tried The Good Day and it is SO yummy, would definitely recommend if you like your coffee on the sweeter side :)“

“Visited from out of town and 100% worth the stop. I ordered the Grilled Turkey pesto sandwich and the single serving Oreo cheesecake. The sandwich was bigger than I expected and was absolutely delicious, especially as a big pesto fan. The cheesecake was amazing and the best I’ve ever had. I would absolutely recommend coming here and I can’t wait to be able to go back and try all the delicious looking pastries, breads, and other desserts and foods.“

“I made an order to pickup and when I walked in the door there were 5 employees and not a single one acknowledged me in any way. Not one smile or even eye contact. They were all very busy working and I get that but it only takes a second to acknowledge a customer. The cookies look fantastic and taste amazing. No complaints about the product but I do think the customer experience is not great due to being ignored by the staff.“

“I have come to this location many times and the employees are always very friendly and efficient!! The only downside to this crumbl bakery would be the location it is in such a bad spot and the parking is always super busy and very tight. I’ve almost been hit multiple times by people parking basically on top of my car.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Creme. The beverages are genuinely great, but what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It’s artistic, creative, and thoughtfully curated in a way that makes you want to stay awhile.
They host quarterly events, and I’ve attended a few — every single one has felt welcoming, inclusive, and full of good energy. You can tell there’s real intention behind everything they do.
In my over 20 years of being in Des Moines, I truly believe this has been one of the best additions to the Des Moines dining community. On top of that, the owner is genuinely one of the best people you could choose to support.
If you’re looking to support a local, woman-owned small business that pours heart into its space and community, I highly recommend giving Creme a try. This is a Des Moines must-have.“

“Wonderful Mexican bakery! The best part? Very clean. The lady behind the counter was super kind when we asked her about certain items and she kept cleaning and wiping things down. We got some bolillos and conchas. The worst part? There is only street parking but we found a spot right in front.“

“Love going to the farmers market and getting a pie or 2. Never disappoint, think I've tried all of the different savory pies (yet to try to sweet ones). I'm a Brit so pie's are a taste of home, but the Aussie's have a much bigger pie culture compared to the UK. Love their sausage rolls too, best i've had outside of "Greggs" in the UK. Sadly they don't often have them at the farmers market anymore.“

“I dont give 5 stars for any company.This is far my favorite bread next Brownberry.I try to avoid not buy the company branded labels like Hyvee, Fareway or Great Value (Walmart brand). Just too bad I dont see this brand in Walmart.i know some Walmart Great Value bread is Country Hearth bread just the private labelHyvee sometimes is under Sara Lee.Just like tortilla- Mama Lupa's has there private label for HyveeSara Lee is just too expensive. Especially at Hyvee and Fair“
