“The bakery is only a couple of blocks away from our family members home. Lucky us! There’s delicious food to choose from the wide menu. We chose the quiches and each one of us with a different side: potatoes or soup or salad. Along with it, a warm cup of cappuccino, well extracted. Also, the yogurt parfait complemented our order.
We chose fresh chicken pesto pizza, ciabatta and multigrain bread. But there is way more to choose from the multi option coolers.
The staff is kind and attentive. No wonder the place was packed. There was a line of people waiting to place their orders, but it was quick to get to our turn.
If the weather is as pleasant as it was today, there’s seating in the patio where you can enjoy the sun while savoring your food.

“Entered after having to drive to Des Moines to go to my bank. It was extremely wet outside which did affect the atmosphere. I purchased 1 cookie, 2 cupcakes and a tea!
The cookie I ate before I got into my car, a white chocolate raspberry cookie which tasted amazing.
The tea which I drank while driving back to Ames was refreshing.
When I got home I tried the double chocolate cupcake and the frosting tasted like a candy bar the cupcake reminded me of a great cupcakes, very airy!
I still have the apple cupcake and will enjoy it later!“

“Chacha puts her heart and soul into her community, as well as the baked goods she has in the case. Her cinnamon rolls are massive, a too sweet, and make any Midwest chili night a core memory. The vanilla iced coffee to go keeps you awake on a long road trip and the cookies I brought home hours away were a delightful treat for our young one.“

“We chose Molly’s for our wedding cakes and boy did people really chow those down. The cakes for our guests were amazing, but our wedding cake was more than I could have ever imagined. They took my inspiration pictures and executed beyond belief. The cake was incredible to eat and to look at. We were speechless. I would recommend Molly’s for weddings and in general as all their items are so delicious. Thank you so much!!“

“I'm about 90% sure this was at Hinterland festival and had the most amazing Vegan Gluten free cookies. I had 6 of them over the weekend. Couldn't keep my hands off these cookies!“
“We ordered a Carrot Cake at the last minute for my wife’s birthday and it was amazing!! Sarah was easy to work with and got back to us promptly when we submitted the order. We have two boys with Celiac so this was a great treat for all of us. Highly recommend even if you don’t need Gluten Free!!“

“Wonderful Mexican bakery! The best part? Very clean. The lady behind the counter was super kind when we asked her about certain items and she kept cleaning and wiping things down. We got some bolillos and conchas. The worst part? There is only street parking but we found a spot right in front.“

“Suzie makes the best cakes in all of Des Moines. I asked for a chocolate and raspberry cake for my birthday, and she did not disappoint! It was not only delicious but also super cute, topped with frosted flowers and sparkles! I recommend Suzie for all of your homemade baked good needs!“
“We were married 10/24, and Chef Nik did our cake and cookies (we had cookies and milk for dessert). The cake was BEAUTIFUL and everything we wanted and then some. It tasted even better, and everyone loved the cookies (like, we had zero leftovers..). HIGHLY recommend Nik for all your dessert needs!“

“I had amazing service this past Sunday. My server G was such a warm and welcoming person. Made sure my family was satisfied and had all that we needed. “This place is a city GEM 💎! Everything is freshly made and tastes absolutely amazing! Everyone is so incredibly kind and the prices are out of this world reasonable. This shop even has a drive through if you would rather not have to get out of your vehicle. If I could give 10 💫 I most definitely would!!!“
