“I went here for lunch, hoping to find a lunch buffet. Unfortunately, it appears the buffet is closed indefinitely (I'd assume due to COVID). However, I did find some of the BEST paneer tikka masala I've ever had, and a kind and friendly staff. Highly recommend!“

“Food was absolutely delicious! I got the Chicken Curry at mild heat and my fiancé got the Tikki Masala, mild heat as well! We both LOVED our dishes! Tased very good and authentic! Wait staff was very kind! They also do a good job wiping things down, being sanitary, wearing gloves, and then instead of reusable cups, they give you a water bottle! Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to go back!“

“while the wait staff was a bit disorganized, they were friendly and attentive and constantly checked in on me while I ate. I had the veg avakai dum biriani, which I've had at maybe a dozen places but this was by far the best I've had, I'd have expected 20 dollars an entree but it was only 12 dollars for the dish. fantastic experience overall and if you're into Indian beer they have a great selection.“

“I don’t have pictures. Only of my stomach which was BULGING out after I was done eating here. ? I ate WAY too much. The food was FIRE ? Bursts of flavor in every bite! I tried EVERY dish served at the buffet and was not disappointed once. Service was wonderful as well! They told me they have different buffet dishes every day so I may go broke going here to try everything. ? Try it! You won’t be disappointed!“

“When I was being guided there by Googlemaps, I thought there was an issue because I did not see the restaurant coming from the east side of Forrest Ave. It seemed like there was not going to be something at the address, but I was mistaken. Also, the restaurant is no longer 3/4 empty. On my first visit to Lzaza, I was welcomed by some of the friendliest and most attentive staff who I have experienced in the Des Moines Metro area, and in Iowa. The restaurant was fairly full and had a diverse mix of people dining there. The food was very flavorful and had the right amount of spice. The buffet line had a variety of food options for many tastes and dietary needs. The buffet included chai tea which was delicious and also included a few desserts. The naan was some of the best naan I have ever had. It was not too thick or not too thin, and had an amazing taste. They also had 3 rice options which give you many combinations with the main entree choices.Lastly, the decor was some elegant art pieces/paintings, and provided a warm atmosphere. Lzaza is a hidden treasure nestled in a residential area, and is worth the trip!Vegetarian options: Many options.Dietary restrictions: Many optionsParking: They have a nice parking lot, but if full, you will need to park in the street.Kid-friendliness: Very attentive to children and there needs.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.“

“I didn't expect the place to be good one looking at the rating, but it turned our to be good actually. I loved the food, felt like authentic indian dishes. Price is also very reasonable. Naan is very tasty! I would love to visit again.“

“My friend invited me to dinner and this was the spot she chose. I really don’t know why more people are not talking about this place. I’ve been back three times and every time has been perfect! The food is so good and you can tell it’s cooked fresh. Everything I’ve tried has wonderful flavor and the staff is friendly!“

“First visit. Met a friend. We split everything and it was all good. The kiosk menu gives a good, understandable description of each item. We ordered samosa chaat, chicken tikka masala and ginger chicken. It was all delicious. The restaurant is located in a grocery store. So it's like a diner type setting with counter service and ordering. It was clean. Fast and delicious. A hidden gem in Urbandale.“
