First time going to Pita Pit, and I was blown away by the quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh and tasted so good. Service was fast and friendly, waited only a few minutes. Atmosphere left a bit to be desired, but it was clean and comfortable enough. Highly recommend.
The cleanliness, especially sitting snowy weather? Immaculate. The music? Choice. The menu hits the spot every time, and honestly, it's a no-brainer to choose Pita Pit every time we're in the area.
I used to really like Pita Pit, back in my college days. I have not had it in years, however, and was somewhat disappointed by it when trying recently.
The chicken used to come in larger strips, but now appears to be finely chopped, almost shredded, which makes the texture very unusual.
Additionally, it seems like their barbecue sauce is different than it used to be. The taste was odd to me, and honestly I didn't enjoy it.
