“I was standing behind Bud Pratt and he was incredibly rude to Evelyn. This man was unexpectedly rude. How dare he treat her this way? This woman was just doing her job and he treated her like she was nothing. She handled it like a professional and worked through his mean demeanor, regardless of how he treated her this woman is strong, and I commend her.”

“There are so few Blimpie’s locations, so I was so excited when I saw this one! Service is what you would expect for a gas station in the middle of nowhere, but I would say this is the best thing about the entire truck stop honestly lol. World’s largest truck stop is just that, large for many trucks to park, not much else. Anyway, the bread was so yummy & fresh, the meat was GREAT quality, and my sandwich tasted amazing! I would go again.”

“Even though the sign says there is an Orange Julius here, that's not really accurate. It's actually a Dairy Queen that can make a couple of their drinks...but I'll take it as they were still able to make my favorite, Strawberry. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were flies in the food court. Not specific to them at ALL but off putting all the same. I got my drink to go to avoid them.”

“Easy on-and-off and not as busy as what is across the street. The restaurant was relatively clean and about what you expect for an Arby's. The lady behind the counter was very efficient and very fast though I don't know if she smiled in the last couple months. The food was exactly as ordered and was a great pit stop all”

“So many bad reviews here but I've ordered 5 times in the last 6 months and had no issues. The Vanilla cream cold brew is delicious and I've had a bagel and cream cheese twice and it was really good too!”

“Got fresh sub from subway...the lady was polite. The restroom was super clean.there were hand sanitizer besides every single door. The lady on the cash register was nice and showed nice gestures.”

“If you are a fan of Caribou Coffee, or any good coffee you will love this location inside Iowa 80. With many choices for coffee at this location, it was a pleasure to see a Caribou Counter in their food court area. Fast service as well, when we were there. Plain and Simple, Great Fresh hot coffee, the way it should be at a truck stop. Overall Rating ~ Very Good.”

“We were at the beach pub Friday, 9/8. we arrived at 2:00pm intending to have a drink and head for our campground. But our bartender, Sam, was so welcoming and fun we stayed for several hours talking and laughing with her and the locals. the people were so welcoming. We were planning on leaving Sunday but decided to stay 1 more night just so we could go watch the football games with the Beach Pub folks. Thanks to the Beach Pub for a great time. By the way, if you make it to the Beach Pub, you've gotta try the Blue Wave cocktail. it will absolutely wet your whistle!”

“We were on I80 when the tornado warning/rain/winds forced us off the highway. With no idea where to go, we took 2 right turns then sprinted into the first building we saw with lights. Megan and the regulars couldn’t have been more welcoming. It’s welcoming, clean, good pour, and great people! If you’re in the area be sure to stop in!!”

“I called in pizza and garlic mozzarella cheese sticks to pick up. I arrived and the staff was very pleasant and friendly. The establishment was clean and tidy.My cat loved the cheese sticks. The pizza reminded me of my mom's homemade pizza...Purrrfect.”

With- 2 tyoes of reg cheese, summer sausage, celery, 3 olives, 1 pepperchini, 1 pickle, 1 jal popper, 1 fried shrimp, 1 fried pickle chip, 1 white cheddar fried cutd & 1 pepperjack fried curd, 1 boneless chick bite, 1 mini taco, 1 slice bacon, 1 big texas toast grilled cheese, 1 small beer (very cold & fresh). 20$ Every thing was ABSOLUTELY on point. With on street & out back parking, an outside seating area, clean updated bathrooms. Plenty of tvs & an additional seating/dining area opposite the bar... Just a great local spot. Going back for sure...”

There wasn't a dry Whisker Biscuit in the room after that and I ended up taking some future ex-wife material home with me later. 10/10 would go back!!!!”
