There are so few Blimpie’s locations, so I was so excited when I saw this one! Service is what you would expect for a gas station in the middle of nowhere, but I would say this is the best thing about the entire truck stop honestly lol. World’s largest truck stop is just that, large for many trucks to park, not much else. Anyway, the bread was so yummy & fresh, the meat was GREAT quality, and my sandwich tasted amazing! I would go again.

It's not in the Iowa-80 truck stop food court, but at the fueling building in the semi area. Totally worth the jaunt over. As good as I remember from my youth. Wish Blimpies were still around in my area.

Waited 15 min to order. Worker let other employee cut in front of us to order. Was not very friendly and extremely slow while making the sandwiches. Would not recommend going to this location.

I bought a premade salad and regretted spending the money. It had so many onions I gave up on picking them out and just threw the salad away and decided to just go to bed. Every time I decide to splurge and buy something out on the road I regret it and wish I would have just cooked in my truck instead. I guess I am slow to learn.

Looks like a sub shop on the outside but it’s really a gas station. Workers were friendly but food quality is terrible. Dont have mozzarella as a cheese option. Can’t toast sandwiches anymore but the grill was on not that I would’ve even wanted it toasted after seeing how gross the grill was. Was told they could microwave but I declined. Sandwiches tasted gross and we paid $14 for a 12 inch and $8 for a 6 inch.
Staff acts like they're doing you a favor. Clearly irritated and annoyed by orders. Lots of huffing and puffing and eyerolling. Location is in a fuel station so don't expect amazing atmosphere, it isn't even in the main World's Largest Truckstop, off in the fueling station. Food is below average, and if you want it warmed, expect it to be microwaved and to have an annoyed response if you ask.

Watched Shawna touch other items such as a personal coffee cup, package of meat, put it on make table, then scratch behind her ear and put gloves on only one hand, immediately after touches the make table door with the hand WITHOUT A GLOVE, then take that one off and put more on all without washing her hands at all. Absolutely disgusting. Cross contamination all over your food. Flys everywhere to add more to this complaint. Please do better.

Didn't have much time so grabbed a sausage egg and cheese burrito. Very good. Had fried eggs, sausage patties . And cheese . Good size . Also grabbed a couple desserts.People were very friendly.

If you are looking to try Blimpie, don't start here. Blimpie at least used to be as good or better than Subway but this place is a really bad example of that. The bread was dry and crumbly the lettuce and maters was well past the good stage. The pickles also seemed like they might have been around for a while. The girl that made the sub was nice though. It did cost me fifteen for the footlong meal which I guess isn't bad now days. Over all, if you are looking to try the Blimpie brand, don't start here.
