Went in at 2am for breakfast, never got it.
Ordered coffee and an omlette, then got to watch a waitress either so tired she was falling asleep on her feet or coming down from a high. Total waste of time. Never got any food, just room temperature coffee. When she passed out over by the buffet, I laid down $2 for the coffee and left.

I probably would have given zero Stars if I could have. It was barely after midnight and I ordered biscuits and gravy. It came out extremely cold so I told the blonde waitress that my food was cold. She took it away from me and was back in less than a minute had thrown it in the microwave for 30 seconds and it was still super cold. She then tried to charge me $5 and something cents for the lemonade that I didn't drink and two tiny flimsy pieces of bacon that looks like they went and took them from the Wendy's down the hall.... thanks for making my night even worse.

Good price and excellent food, stop by here every chance I get, as a truck driver there is not much places we can go and eat good food.

The food was great. The lady working not so much. I went in at about 0200 on 7/27/24. I ordered food that was great but as I sat there I had finished my 1st cup of coffee and was ignored as the waitress would rush by to seat get peoples drink orders and then back to flirting with the guy at the end of the counter. Then at the ended of the night I had to yell. Literally yell to get her attention so I could pay my bill. I could've easily walked out with out a notice from anyone.

Walcott — world’s largest truck stop just outside of Davenport. Stopped for breakfast at the beginning of 2,600 mile Harley trip. Great way to start your day. HUGE breakfast, fair price point, tasty, and perfectly prepared. Crisp hash browns, thick bacon, chicken fried steak and sausage gravy top notch. Pancakes great. We didn’t do the buffet but it was huge. Knowledgeable staff well informed on what is gluten free and not. It’s what you’d expect from truck stop food (great food fair price), parking is abundant, rest of truck stop is pretty cool too. Always a big crowd
Dietary restrictions: Staff well informed on their gluten free options - lots of variety if you desire or need gluten free

It's impossible to complain about a place that serves hot food at 2am that is not a roller griller

I hate to post something negative because the food was great. The manager is outstanding. Unfortunately, our server was terrible. Our server, Jody, appeared so put out by our party of nine, even though we came in and the restaurant was relatively empty. This was Sunday, July 14, at around 1:30 pm. As the sign stated, we seated ourselves and we were all ordering the buffet. Our server did not greet us. Instead, she asked "how many of there are you?" clearly upset by our party of nine. She told us next time, we needed to call ahead if we were coming in with a big party. She said the restaurant wasn't prepared for extra parties like ours because they already had a party of 20 coming in later. I'm confused because isn't this a truck stop? Isn't this an all-you-can-eat, family-style buffet, open 365 days a week, where you seat yourselves? We were literally scolded for not making reservations at an open-seating, cafteria -style restaurant at a truck stop?
Our party of nine could have easily been split into 2 tables so this wasn't an issue if our server had a problem with us. Anyway, she brought us waters and that's all she had to do given we all ordered the buffet. We were so put off by her nasty attitude, we decided to say something to the manager. The manager on duty, Ashley, handled the entire situation with grace, even when the server, Jody, grabbed her while she was walking out of the kitchen to speak to us. Jody's behavior was shockingly inappropriate and just rude.

Enjoyed my visit. Staff was very friendly and the Salmon was amazing. I will definitely stop in every chance I get.
Had an excellent waitress, food selection was decent and tasted alright. Price was great for an all you can eat buffet at a truck stop. Totally worth it considering the other options at this location are all fast food and cost way more.

Got some pork chops. Oh my goodness, they were delicious. Cooked perfect. Waitress did an amazing job. Quick service and refill on time. Good place to park , shower , and have a good meal afterward , I wish all truck stops were like this.

They used to say follow the truckers to find good food now truckers have to park wherever they can find a place. That does not mean the truckers don't know good food. But basically this is box shipped in food that's about it is well is all fast food.
