My hussband and I visited the deli/market place in this Hyvee on a Friday night at about 6:39 pm. I believe their food service stops at 8 pm. I ordered a 2 pc chicken with 2 sides. 1 was "fresh:" fruit and the other was a macaroni salad.. This was one of the most horrible meals. The chicken consisted of 1 wing and 1 thigh. They were so dry and the wing had no meat what so ever. The "fresh" fruit was definately not fresh. I was mushy and gross as if it had been...
I like the place very much but most of the time they don’t have the ribs in the hot food area. Have to settle for baked chicken instead. Sometimes I would like the meatloaf but they don’t have that as much either. I’m not one for fried foods but that’s about all that they have in the hot meal section. Otherwise everything is great.
